Carina Sorella is a vibrant Italian restaurant located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Their menu has a wide variety of dishes. With an exquisite dining experience, from friendly staff to amazing dishes, Carina Sorella really does have it all. Some of my personal favorites include the Margherita Pizza, the Rigatoni Vodka, a delightful pasta topped with pomodoro and delicious spicy Italian sausage.

An Appetizing Introduction – 4.5/5

Appetizers on the menu include Burrata with Roasted Grapes and almonds, Meatballs with a delicious side of whipped ricotta and pomodoro sauce, and Rosemary Sea Salt Bread, dipped in Italian butter and Tuscan oil. A personal favorite of mine, especially, is the Burrata with Roasted Grapes and almonds. I personally enjoy this dish because of the fresh Italian cheese, which is filled with a delightful cream and mozzarella. 

A Menu Full of Choices – 5/5

With a wide selection of entrees, Carina Sorella offers delightful, fresh wood-fired pizzas, seasonal pastas, and more. The Margherita Pizza, a fresh firewood-pizza with a delightful mix of cheese and tomato sauce, is a fan favorite. The spinach ravioli is a delicious pasta topped with blush sauce, roasted tomatoes, and parmesan cheese. Lastly, the Chicken Pacatta, a classic Italian-American dish with lemon, capers, and angel hair. My personal favorite is their Rigatoni Vodka pasta, a delicious, creamy pasta with pomodoro, basil, and optional spicy Italian sausage. The Margherita Pizza is definitely at the top of my list, because of the enjoyable cheese on top, combined with the fresh tomato sauce. 

A Sip of a Refreshing Drink – 3/5

Carina Sorella offers a variety of drinks, including the Mezzo Mezzo, an energetic house-made raspberry iced tea, and the Cucumber No-Jito, a tasty soda with cucumber and lime. After trying the Mezzo Mezzo, I would say it wasn’t my favorite, but I definitely recommend it to someone who enjoys a vibrant iced tea with a lot of flavor. 

Unmatched Atmosphere and Services  – 4/5 

 The ambiance of Carina Sorella is unmatched, with a dimly lit restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and offering Happy Hour. The staff’s attitude at Carrina Sorella is amazing as well, with caring staff and amazing hospitality all around the table. After visiting Carinna Sorella a couple of times, I have always noticed that the staff are very welcoming. The atmosphere at Carina Sorella is especially nice at dinner time, when I visited, offering a cozy, well-lit setting that sets the tone for guests. 

Sweet endings  – 4/5 

To finish your meal with a satisfying sweet, they offer a wide variety of desserts, including a delightful Tiramisu, and Vanilla Panna Cotta topped with huckleberry and pine nuts. The tiramisu includes espresso and mascarpone with it.
